Book Review: The Eve Factor

Oprah should dedicate an entire show to the "The Eve Factor"

Stars: 4/5

Author and Minister, Steve B. Walters, tackles a condition in our society that has grown substantially in recent years. The subject matter deals with women who are in a psychological state of being "lost". The Eve Factor is frank in its' coverage of the topic and includes symptoms, causes and potential remedies. Much of what the author proposes is bolstered by Scripture.

The book is written for both the male and female reader and, as the author suggests, can be used for number of purposes including marriage counseling, relationship building and self-improvement, to name a few.

Although I know the author personally, I am not going to be biased in my review. While reading the book I did notice a number of grammatical errors. I am not sure if this can be attributed to an early edition, a rush to publication or just a poor editor. Whatever the reason, the errors were so obvious that once you found two or three you were consciously looking for others; which subtracts from an otherwise enjoyable read.

In conclusion, I am glad that I read this book even though the subject matter is outside the norm for me.
